“Making Encouragement the Priority It Should Be”

FOCUS

The subtitle of this message is absolutely true — the beauty, power, importance & potential of encouragement cannot be overstated. Just one word, action, or affirming look can change someone’s day & maybe even their life.

I am sure that if we make encouragement one of the defaults of our lives, it will bring about all kinds of change for the better in & all around us.

Think about it, like doubling a penny every day for a month results in $5,368,709.42 if it’s 30 days ($10,737,418.80 if it’s 31), the encouragement kindness validation exponential J-curve is something to help make happen.

When it comes to encouragement, we must …

1. elevate & activate it.

Encouragement is best displayed on the backdrop of potentially discouraging truth.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 (5:1-10)

2. value & validate its power & potential.

The only way for encouragement to do its thing is for it to be expressed.

2 Thessalonians 2:16-17

Making It Real

1] How will you elevate & activate it in & through you?

2] How will you value & validate its power & potential?

Action Step

Pray each morning this week for the opportunity to encourage at least three

different people asking God that it would be passed on through them.
